↳ Component overview · API connects to storage and application data

A storage product needs more than a place to put files. Users need secure authentication, an upload and download experience, and a way to share files through the application.

The build

AzureDrop brings these workflows together with Azure Blob Storage and a Node.js/Express backend backed by PostgreSQL. The project connects full-stack application development with Azure-oriented DevOps architecture.

01

Separate file storage from application data

Azure Blob Storage supports the file layer, while Node.js and Express provide the application backend and PostgreSQL supports application data.

02

Cover the file journey

Authenticated uploads, downloads, and share links make the project a connected storage experience.

03

Build in an Azure context

AzureDrop connects the application stack to Azure-oriented DevOps architecture, extending the storage work beyond CloudDrop’s AWS focus.

WHAT THE WORK DEMONSTRATES

Built. Investigated. Applied.

Full-stack implementation

Azure Blob Storage, Node.js, Express, and PostgreSQL form the application stack.

End-user workflows

Authentication, uploads, downloads, and share-link workflows are part of the project.
